Hello my name is Chris I live in Vancouver British Columbia Canada
I have spent the last 3.5 years looking after my wife she came to Canada 5 years ago to be a nurse for her uncle who was dying from brain cancer.
We got married 3.5 years ago she spent the first 2 years studying English so she could go to school to be a nurse in Canada.(this was her dream)
It was hard with only one income coming into the home but with love and support I knew we could make it.
She passed English and was enrolled into nursing school she just graduated with an A- grade only for us to find out that there is no funding for her to get a job, this would normally be no problem but I lost my job 6 months ago and we are out of options. (Credit cards full bank empty)
This is the legacy the OLYMPICS have brought to British Columbia Canada
I am selling our wedding rings to pay our rent 24k gold
Our funding has gone to support the OLIMPICS 2010 Winter Games and we will be HOMELESS!

Do what most good doctors and nurses from Canada do, they immigrate to the U.S. If Obama health care passes we will all need to find another country, but until that happens she can find better work and better pay down south.
